Apocrypha- noun.Writings or statements of questionable authorship or authenticity. Welcome to a land where humans stretch across the globe, gobbling up land and paying no mind to the creatures that inhabit it. The animals dream of Paradise, a place with no hunger, pain, or guilt. A place, perhaps, with no people. The wolves have had enough; the continent they live on, Anaesthe, is under seige by mankind's greed. The deer may be too afraid, the horses may be reluctant to leave, but the wolves have made up their mind: it's time to go. Their numbers have dwindled horribly as wolf pelts became a humongous trading success, and now the wolves scramble to rebuild packs from scratch so that almost all the wolf population might embark on the greatest journey of their lives. Across the continent, through human civilizations, to safety. Safety, to these wolves, is a variety of things. Some of them seek Senait, a neighboring continent blissfully free of the growing human empire known as Kaldar. Some of them wish to go further, to a place where Kaldar's reach may never extend. Some of them, though, seek a pack memory buried under cynicism and survival. >Paradise<
