IceAge
[/u]Everything was great with the four Tribes. The prey ran fat and plentiful. It hardly rained, but water supply was plentiful. It snowed only once or twice the entire Leaf-Bare. The Tribes were in harmony, and Scallers didn't interrupt the Tribes peace either. Straight-Bellies were, as usual, sticking to their own streets and feild. Everything was well with the Tribes.
Well, almost.
Soon, the temperature started dropping abnormally low. The first flakes of Thick-fur fell at the begining of Grow-fur. This upset the harmony. The prey didn't have long to stock up on the dying seeds for Thick-fur. Herb stocks were cut short. Food was still enough to fill our bellies.
Well, almost.
Once the prey had satisfactorily stocked up on seeds and had plumped up, they began to burrow underground. The birds are starting to fly south for hopes of warmer grounds. With the prey being scarce, only hopes of killing a fox or a badger means going to sleep with a full stomach. Nerves are running low as the Tribes get hungrier and hungrier. The Scallers, used to not eating much, seem to be the only ones not harmed by this.
Well, almost.
The prey is scarce for all except the Entertainers, who depend on Straight-Bellies for their food. Roamers are trying to join the Tribes in hopes of more food, they'll try to get in with a group of Scallers, or scavenge around the Straight-Bellies for scraps.
