Who are we?
Island of Aambros is a new cat RPG, based off the Warrior seriest by Erin hunter. It's a classic you-must-audition kind of site, where the actual role playing is held on an invision free forum. There are 3 clans total, and one rogue group. Although there are no 'kittypets' there are still loners.
What we're looking for
Anyone who's interested in cat RPs really. Although these are your average housecats, characters live a feral life on some deserted island. As long as you can role play at a semi-advanced (minimum) standards, you're in.
So what's happening?
Not much, yet. Basically, the starting plot is to get everything organised! Once everyone is settled, and into things, we'll start with our first plot. But because the site is new, with few members, there are still loads of positions left to fill. So if you want to be a higher ranking character, or even have mod powers, now is the time to come!
What kind of plots are in store?
With all these questions, you'll ruin the suprize! ;3
But I can tell you this much: There are plots that have to do with the rogues, and a sickness...
In Character wise, what's the history?
Well, it all started with the four original clans: Thunderclan, Windclan, Riverclan and Shadowclan. The leader of Thunderclan had problems maintaining his respect and clan together. Humans were destroying more and more of the forest, and more cats were leaving to find a safer place. Cats were dying due to pollution, and the huge monsters the humans rode in. Firestar's mate was one of those victimes. All through this turmoil, he fell inlove with a golden-pelted rogue, who went by the name of Gypsi. Together, they had children; two infact, although one was a stilborn. Wanting a good life for their only son, Firestar took him back to the clan. But when he was a little older, the clan found out that he was not clan born. He could not be trusted. So they stripped the young cat of his warrior name, and turned him out.
From then on, that young cat went by the name of Aambros, and lived his life wandering, searching for the land so many other's had sought out. He travelled far and wide, trying to find a place where no human had set foot.
One day, by the sea, he noticed a bridge, leading to an island hidden in the fog. He explored, and found that he was not the first. Few cats were found there, along with a good ammount of prey, but also predators.
There, he has numerous visions from Starclan. They told Aambros to set up new clans. One was to be Rainclan, situated by the lake. Another would be Fireclan, who reined over the mountains. The last was to be Breezeclan, who's warrior's wandered through the forest.
Two generations later, the island and their clans are still there. Yet quite a few cats have been killed off, due to the sickness called Tytherdroin, were cats lose their fur, develope wets, and slowly die. The few that are left have tried to rebuild their broken clans. The bridge to the island is once again open...
